Mentoring

We are excited to launch the second cohort of our mentoring scheme, creating a fantastic opportunity for current students and recent graduates to learn from our growing alumni network. Applications for both mentors and mentees will be accepted until Friday 31st October, please apply via this Google form. If you have any questions, please email mentoring@nasta.tv

For Mentors

Why Apply?

For mentors, it's a really meaningful way of volunteering and giving back to the Student TV community. As we suggest that mentors and mentees meet around once a month and it can all be conducted online, it's not hard to fit into the diary. Both mentors and mentees are bound to learn a lot!

How Does The Scheme Work?

Members of the STAN committee will endeavour to match mentees with mentors based on their interests and aspirations. Mentees will be introduced via email to their mentors and then it is up to the mentor and mentee to sort out the parameters of their mentoring agreement.

How Long Does The Scheme Last?

The scheme will be for 6 months. However once the formal mentoring period has ended, there's nothing to say that you and your mentor can’t stay in touch if that works for you both.

Am I Eligible?

Anyone applying as a mentor should have more than 3-years of professional experience within the media industry.

For Mentees

Why Apply?

For mentees, you'll benefit from one-to-one careers advice, support and guidance over a 6-month period.

Both mentors and mentees are bound to learn a lot!
